A hand towel has a measurement of (50x100cm) where as a guest towel is marginally smaller at (50x70cm). In general we´ve found customers buy the smaller guest towel for visitors staying for face washing. Alternatively the hand towel is used in guest bathrooms for drying off hands in general.
Selecting between a bath sheet (100x150cm) and bath towel (70x140cm) is a personal preference. If you like the feel of being wrapped up in a towel then the obvious choice is a bath sheet however bath sheets also take up more real estate in the wash. This can be an important part of the decision process in larger households where bigger towels could be several more loads of washing a week.
Regular washing of our luxury cotton towels will not shrink them. All our products have been pre washed to ensure colour fastness and no shrinkage.
