Our 600 thread count sateen bed linen is a true sateen of this weight. Being made from a long fibre true Egyptian cotton means the material is soft and not overly thick- a true luxury to sleep in.

If you are a hot sleeper we would probably suggest you go for a percale alternative as percale as a weave is a little more breathable than sateen. If however you are a mad fan of sateen then maybe try a lighter bed linen material being a 280 or 300 thread count sateen.
We generally recommend people control body temperature by making sure they have the correct the thickness of the duvet insert and quality of blankets. If these factors are not right they will have a much bigger impact on the quality of your sleep than using sateen bed linen.
Ironing bed linen can be a time consuming pain! At DEIA Living we are busy so understand many people prefer to sacrifice a little perfection for a little bit more for yourself. Although sateen bed linen is more forgiving that percale when it comes to wrinkles we generally recommend ironing if you have time. Generally speaking the sheets will wear better long term when they are ironed and of course look more beautiful.
