This GSM means more cotton fibre in each metre of terry towelling resulting in a denser cotton towel therefore increasing absorbency. In saying this the higher GSM doesn't make our towels feel rough or hard or too heavy due to the long fibered Egyptian cotton we use. This combination cotton density with quality long fibres makes for the highly absorbent long lasting towel.
